→ Applicants must have full-time availability throughout the residency period.
→ Argentine residents must have a valid DNI; applicants of other nationalities must have a valid passport.
→ Applicants must have valid health coverage: a health insurance plan for Argentine residents, or international health/life insurance for all others.
If the relevant certificate is not available at the time of application, it may be submitted at a later date.

Fees

All three residency modalities are fee-based. The fee includes access to the benefits and activities corresponding to each program, as detailed in Section 1. [Specific amounts for each program to be confirmed.]

Cost & Application Process

The cost of each residency is determined on an individual basis, depending on the selected modality (Macro, Micro, or Contemporary Printmaking Residency) and the length of stay.

Funding Options

→ PALMI Scholarships & Partnerships: We regularly offer scholarships of our own, as well as opportunities developed in partnership with cultural and academic institutions. We encourage you to keep an eye on our open calls to learn about the support available in each cycle.

→ External Grants & Funding: We encourage artists to apply for independent funding programs, international mobility grants, and cultural subsidies available in their countries or regions of origin. To support this process, the PALMI team can provide a formal acceptance letter, letters of recommendation, and any necessary supporting documentation for each application.

→ Evaluation Period: Please note that our committee takes approximately five (5) weeks from the submission of an application to issue its final decision. We recommend planning your application accordingly, especially if you require official documentation from PALMI to apply for scholarships or external funding.

Application Requirements

Each applicant must submit a single PDF document (maximum file size: 10 MB) containing the following information, in the order specified below:

→ Personal information.
→ CV, including formal and informal education.
→ Professional background: exhibitions, awards, previous residencies, and other relevant experience.
→ Artist statement.
→ Portfolio: up to 10 high-quality images of completed works or projects.
→ Detailed project proposal for the residency, specifying the requested duration.

For the Contemporary Printmaking Residency, the project must also specify the printmaking techniques to be used and any specific production requirements.

Participant Commitment

By accepting participation in any of the programs, the artist agrees to:

→ Actively engage in the working and exchange process with the other residents.
→ Participate in activities proposed by the PALMI team.
→ Respect the rules and schedules of the space.
→ Contribute to the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect that defines PALMI.
